Project Abstract

AIM
The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of current construction
safety training programs in reducing accidents on building sites.


OBJECTIVES
The basis of this research centers around the effectiveness of the current safety
training programs in the WA construction industry. To assist this research, the
following objectives are necessary:
- Identifying reasons behind poor safety records.
- Determining safety training programs and legislation currently adopted by the
construction industry of Western Australia.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs currently used in WA
- Developing recommendation on improvement to the current safety programs
to further reduce accident.
