Project Description

We are McGill students (faculty of Management, major in marketing)who are conducting a study about a coffee/doughnut shop located in the province of Quebec, Canada. We aim at knowing more about consumers behaviors.

Project Abstract

Ten years ago, Dunkin’ Donuts was by far the most popular donut company in Quebec. However, today things have changed quite a bit in the province for this donut company. Many competitors, such as Tim Hortons and Krispy Kreme have made their place in Quebec’s donut market and have taken a big bite of Dunkin’s profit. In addition, Dunkin’ Donuts has no longer the same great image and reputation it once had, and many stores have closed. However, all Dunkin’s franchises in Quebec have just been bought by “Les dépanneurs Couche-Tard”, and perhaps the CEO, Alain Bouchard, will be able to give back pride to its new aquisition.
