The survey will be used as part of a dissertation for a PhD in Education, with a specialty in Instructional Design, from Capella University, in Minneapolis, MN.

Project Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore how one region of a statewide two-year college system implemented a distance learning approach that combined both Internet delivery and a reduced timeframe. Perceptions of self-efficacy and reactions to the implementation will be studied in an effort to explain how the modified environment impacts learning behaviors related to interaction in the short-term online courses.
