The lack of restriction other than housekeeping rules means that deep-level insights can be collected and collated from a healthy community. Hence, it is important to provide a high level of flexibility to the user as well as the community managers to drive conversations and derive actionable feedback.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We at QuestionPro Communities constantly add features to our platform to make it enticing for organizations and users at all levels to use. To this effect, we have made some changes to our Topics module that is going to make it even easier for the community users to indulge with the brand. Simultaneously, a community administrator has even more control over the account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What you now get with this update<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An admin can centrally manage the setup in one place, including points for activities, type of notifications, create categories and add a description for community members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The admin can moderate the topics posted individually or multiple at a time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The admin can now view and edit images in the topics and comments. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now the admin can edit the tag, category, title, and description.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The community admin will now also be able to edit the comments and replies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is now an advanced filter that can help search the topics by member name, email, title text, tags used, posted date, posted by and by any other category.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Topics Revamp &#8211; Updated UX<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The updated UI in the topics revamp now provides the community administrator greater control over moderating topics and comments. The updated design is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Moderating Topics<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Topics, comments, and replies added to the community under Topic module can be moderated. To enable the moderation for new Topics and comments, enable the manual approval option in the Setup tab under Settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-69468\" src=\"https:\/\/www.questionpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1-Moderate-Topics-Feature-Update-QuestionPro-Communiteis.jpg\" alt=\"Moderate Topics Feature Update QuestionPro Communities\" width=\"1673\" height=\"852\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Moderating Comments<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every topic can be edited by the Community administrator from the details page by clicking on the <\/span><b>Edit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> link visible on the topic details page. Even the user\u2019s image replies on communities can be edited by the community admin. Comments can be edited by clicking on the Edit icon visible on hover of every comment for that topic. The community administrator can also be part of the Topic discussion by adding comments or replies from this page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-69469\" src=\"https:\/\/www.questionpro.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2-Moderate-Comments-QuestionPro-Communities-Topics-Feature-Update.jpg\" alt=\"Moderate Comments QuestionPro Communities Topics Feature Update\" width=\"1667\" height=\"633\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><b>How can you set up advanced moderation and control in the Topics module?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To set up advanced moderation, go to <\/span><b>Select Communities Product <\/b><b>\u00bb<\/b><b> Select Community <\/b><b>\u00bb<\/b><b> Modules <\/b><b>\u00bb<\/b><b> Topics<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the new and improved interface, it is now easy to manage the topics settings for the basic setup, categories, points, and notifications.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the topics <\/span><b>setup<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab, you can allow members to create topics and share on social.
