Furthermore. Researchers tend to export data frequently and sometimes add a question between two questions. In such a scenario, the variable name generated in the SPSS does not match the question code provided in the survey. Else, update the data file to their liking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To address the problem, from now on the survey variable names will be auto-generated by QuestionPro.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What did we change?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now researchers can use the question codes as the variable names in SPSS.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We added a button \u201cDisplay Question Code in Variable Name\u201d under the Statistical Package Export (SPSS) option.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default the toggle is off, you need to switch the toggle on to use question code as a variable name.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pop-up prompts users to remove special characters or duplicated variables before downloading the raw survey data.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, while adding a question, you can define an SPSS variable name that will be populated by default or with the autogenerated SPSS variable name.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-83164 size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #1B87E6;
