* Articulate how institutional definitions of plagiarism differ from their own personal understanding of plagiarism
* Identify the consequences of engaging in plagiarism at the graduate level
* Compare and contrast different levels of skill in paraphrasing from synthesis to patchwriting to plagiarism
* Apply a range of strategies for using sources ethically in their own writing
