The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) established the SDMS Sonography Disinfection & Infection Control Task Force to develop a set of guidelines for infection prevention and control in sonography. The guidelines specifically address reprocessing (i.e., cleaning, disinfection or sterilization, and storage) of diagnostic ultrasound transducers, except those used for endoscopic, intracardiac, or intravascular purposes.

The SDMS is asking that you review the proposed guidelines and provide feedback by March 31, 2018. Please share this form with your employer or organization so that they may provide their feedback as well.
