Why is it useful to write out quotations from books, and how to do it competently?

For centuries, people have written quotations from wise people, famous cultural figures, politicians, artists, philosophers and scientists. They preserve the sayings of today's famous businessmen, company executives and corporations. However, everything needs to be measured, and only the most important and useful statements and instructions that can be applied in life should be collected.

How can everything be done competently and profitably? Take advantage of our advice, you may need it.

1.Try to read about everything that is in the world, so you will find the most interesting things. But that doesn't mean we encourage you to read everything from cheap newspapers in a market where there's nothing but advertising and anecdotes to lowly murder novels. Choose quality literature and magazines.

2.When you read, try to mark everything that caught your attention in the book. Mark the words,
paragraphs, pages, bookmarks and so on.

3.Try to make notes in the margins of books when you read. This conversation with books is called marginalization. Do not be afraid to criticize the author, express your point of view, writemypapers in the margins of books, everything you think about. Of course, this should only be done if the book belongs to you and no one else.

4.If you finish the book, put it aside for about a week. Let all information be learned without rushing. Then quietly revise the notes and transfer them to your notebook or notebook.

5. Make sure you write out wise statements, not facts. Your task is not to gather information, but to accumulate tips that will then help you in different situations.

6.Try to keep all your notes on paper. It is clear that it is much easier to store quotations and statements you like on your PC or mobile phone, but it is easier and easier, not always better. Records on a computer can be lost, but hardly on paper. Moreover, when we rewrite statements and quotations on paper, we think more about them, and the probability that we will benefit from them increases.

7.If you don't want to write the quotes in your notebook or notebook, then make a cardboard file. Write them down, and then categorize them.

8.Don't worry if your notes are a little chaotic at first. Write down only what you can use, and the topics that will be of most interest to you will be determined by yourself after a while.

9.Take care to write out not only quotations, but also phrases from the movies, your thoughts.
10.Don't save up your whole library at home. If you have a lot of books with notes, then writing out quotes will be torture and you will give up everything.
11. Use everything you've written down in your life. Otherwise, what good would that do? You write regular emails, chat on social networks, write congratulations, chat with friends and so on. Wise thoughts will help you in this, and you will show your erudition and literacy.

12.There's no need to drag and complain that there's not enough time. Act now!
People have been writing wise quotes for centuries. And records of such famous figures as Marcus Aurelius, Petrarch, Thomas Jefferson, Napoleon have long been in the public domain. Among our contemporaries it is worth mentioning Bill Gates, who keeps notes about his favorite books in his blog The Gates Notes. If you regularly write interesting ideas, quotes and observations, in a few years you will have your own book of wisdom, which you can turn to for help in any situation.
