The annual LGBTQ Family Violence Forum is back again for 2021!
The forum is a showcase of the work happening in the LGBTQ family violence sector and a space for sharing knowledge and good practice, building strong referral pathways for all LGBTIQ+ people and having crucial conversations about working with LGBTIQ+ community members experiencing or using violence. The forum is usually made up of multiple sessions of presentations, workshops or panels all focussing on a different aspect of the sector or an approach to LGBTQ Family Violence.
This year’s forum will take place from the 16th-18th of August and we are now calling for workshop and presentation submissions from the LGBTQ family violence sector. If you would like to present on a particular topic or run a workshop or panel, you can fill out this quick expression of interest form below.
Before you submit your Expression of Interest, please take note of the short list of
Session Guiding Principles that the Forum Working Group has compiled. These principles should ideally guide the creation and presentation of your session.
NOTE: While the forum is centred around the Victorian family violence sector, we welcome contributions from people working in this space across the country and value the shared learnings that a collaborative approach can bring.
