Telemedicine in Primary Care

You are invited to participate in a research study about primary care provider perceptions of telemedicine before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this research study is to describe primary care providers’ beliefs, knowledge, behaviors, and perceived barriers and risks regarding utilizing telemedicine in primary care before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note you must be 18 years old or older to participate in this study.

There are 4 qualifications to participate in this study: (1) you are a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant, (2) you have been practicing primary care for at least two years; (3) you manage adult patients; and (4) you utilize telemedicine in your practice pre-COVID and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participating in this study is voluntary. The risk involved in the study is no more than that in performing daily routines. If you agree to participate in this study, you will answer a brief survey. The survey includes questions about knowledge, beliefs, and barriers of telemedicine. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete this survey. If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point.
