2022 Northern NSW Screen Industry Flood Recovery Assistance

The Northern Rivers region has just experienced some of its worst floods in recorded history. Screenworks is currently raising funds to help screen practitioners and businesses in the Northern Rivers region who have been impacted by the floods.

Use this application form to apply for support:

Screenworks is inviting applications for support of up to $5,000 from screen practitioners and businesses in the Northern Rivers area who need support to replace essential equipment, tools or materials, that have been lost as a result of the floods and affect the screen practitioner’s ability to generate income (that were otherwise not insured).

To apply, you will need to complete the online application form and provide quotations for the replacement cost (including any delivery charges), along with any photos of the damage to equipment from the floods, any receipts of prior purchases or other documentation that supports the claim.

This funding will support people in our industry to get back on their feet as soon as possible, we understand that we will not be able to cover everything that people have lost during these floods. But we hope that it helps to cover things that insurance companies and other financial support packages won't cover.

Screenworks has also committed to supporting all applicants to access funding from financial packages announced by the government and non-government agencies. All applicants will also receive a free 12-month Screenworks membership (either new or renewal).
