85. I'd like to share more about the big picture of what I've tried, what has helped, and what hasn't (optional)
02/25/2021 | 102226919 | We eat a healthy clean diet with weight loss in mind. It is a well rounded yet, clean diet. I will try anything on the natural scope. I wish I can find eye tears to from a natural style. but until the Oasis wins! |
02/21/2021 | 101633186 | I tried tranquileyes with sponges inserted and, instead of keeping my eyes closed at night, they seemed to prop my eyelids slightly open and keep them there. Then, when I washed the sponges with the recommended soap, rinsed, dried, and tried again... I had a massive allergic reaction on my upper eyelid skin. They were burned and the skin peeled off for days. I also tried a lid scrub and it also caused raw, painful eyelid edges. Using medical tape to tape my eyes shut at night created a variety of issues. Skin reacted to adhesive; skin was pulled in getting tape off in the morning; it was overly challenging to get up at night; and other issues. The only solution that has really worked for me is to layer in a boatload of ointment into my eyes at bedtime to essentially glue my eyes shut while remaining easy enough to open when needed. |
02/19/2021 | 101523359 | I feel i am pretty much in my own on this one. Need a good dry eye soecialist but live in regional town so none here. |
02/14/2021 | 100873028 | What helps best, is wearing moisture chamber glasses all the time. |
02/05/2021 | 99928278 | I noticed improvement from when: - using blue light blocking glasses and software blocking that light - starting routine as described in previous sections (hot compress treatments, eye drops about 5 a day etc) - after got 3 IPLs and manual gland expression - using sunglasses outside especialluy springtime and summer |
11/08/2020 | 88103864 | Nothing seems to ever make a large difference. Or, some things that might help, like cold and warm compresses, take a lot of effort and I just lose steam in being rigorous about applying them. One of my biggest issues with my eyes is how much time it takes out of the day to manage them. So I often don't and just deal with the dryness. |
11/06/2020 | 87763235 | I thought I had tried a lot, but apparently there is still quite a bit too try. Cyclosporine is definitely the thing that helped a lot, but my ophthalmologist has recommended me to stop using it due to potential adverse side effects on the longer term. |
08/12/2020 | 77003672 | I haven't tried anything new since my symptoms have flared. Due to COVID I have had to wait to see an eye Dr and have an Apt in Sept where I hope to get more ideas about what to do next |
07/31/2020 | 75645687 | Lacriserts - I can’t make it without them. They are the difference between a symptom free day and a miserable day. |
06/26/2020 | 71553181 | In 23 years of very dry eyes, I have been given every possible treatment that makes sense by ophthalmologists at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. PROSE lenses are by far the best and most effective intervention I have used. |
