As you may agree that an effective manufacturing system provides an opportunity to the firms to look beyond their own organization and collaborate with the value chain partners for the mutual benefits. The developments in technology have been directed towards improving the effectiveness of manufacturing system. 
As a part of Ph.D. research, a nation-wide survey to assess the status and readiness of manufacturing system in meeting the global competition is being conducted. To make it successful and meaningful, the industry and academia must participate by sharing their views. Your valuable feedback in this regard will be a significant input to this survey.
