Welcome to Room 5

Hello Dear Room 5 Families!

Welcome to our classroom! My name is Alix Marx and I am a resource teacher at Turtleback Elementary. I am thrilled to be working with you and your child this year! Some of you I know, and others of you are new to our classroom. I would LOVE to hear back from ALL of you! Please take a few minutes to sit down and answer the questions below. This can be a family activity if you'd like...I'd love to hear what your child thinks as well as you!

A little bit about myself....I love teaching and have been an educator for over 20 years. I have two hats at Turtleback, that of resource teacher with Mrs. deAnda, and that of Impact teacher. I grew up in San Diego but have moved around some, teaching in Oakland, California and for many years in New London, Connecticut. I have two children, Lily (14) and Noah (17), and one dog (named Bear)!
