The purpose of this research and study is to gather information on perceptions into female rape and the attribution of responsibility the public have within society. The researcher has determined that the hypothesis for this particular study is that "both males and females will have a differing opinion on female rape and the responsibilities of individuals within society".

The questionnaire is a self completion questionnaire meaning that you may complete the questionnaire yourself. Participation is completely voluntary. If you do not feel comfortable answering a particular question you are not obliged to do so and you may withdraw from the study at any given time. Any information that you do provide will remain anonymous and confidential. Once the study has come to an end all data provided will be destroyed. In order to ensure that the answers given by participants are anonymous you are not required to write your name or signature on the questionnaire or any other document. Therefore, by filling out the questionnaire you are expressing consent in regard to taking part in the study. Each individual questionnaire will be numbered, if you decide after completing the questionnaire that you wish to withdraw from the study you should simply contact myself and reference your questionnaire number.

By completing the questionnaire you are confirming that you: Project information sheet (a) understand the nature of the study, (b) have received sufficient information concerning the study, (c) agree to participate within the study,and (d) give permission for members involved within the study to access and use the information that you provide

Should you wish to not have your data used within this study then you as a participant have the right to withdraw at any point through the research process and all information shall be disposed of in the correct manner.
