The Sales Factory, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a private, invite-only, asynchronous online community for professional contractors (the “Community”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information provided by members of the Community.
By accepting an invitation and participating in the Community, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected through the Community hosted on QuestionPro and does not apply to external websites, services, or third-party platforms not controlled by The Sales Factory, LLC.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only information that members voluntarily provide, including:
• Registration information (such as name, professional role, company affiliation, and contact information).
• Self-reported survey responses.
• Community discussion posts, comments, uploads, and other submitted content.
• Communications sent to Community administrators.
We do not collect payment information.
We do not use passive tracking technologies (such as cookies or behavioral tracking) beyond what may be inherently required by the QuestionPro platform to operate the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
• To administer and operate the Community.
• To facilitate discussions, surveys, and engagement activities.
• To communicate with members regarding Community participation.
• To generate aggregated, anonymized insights.
Community content is stored for operational and record-keeping purposes. Content will not be repurposed, published, or shared outside the Community without explicit consent provided by the individual member. Members are provided an opt-out option upon joining.
4. Confidentiality and Member Responsibilities
The Community may include discussions involving professional insights, operational experiences, or other business-related information.
Members agree:
• Not to disclose, share, reproduce, or distribute any confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information obtained through the Community.
• Not to share information that is protected by employer confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, trade secret protections, or similar obligations.
• To avoid posting sensitive personal data, trade secrets, or regulated information (including but not limited to financial data, health information, or client-specific confidential materials).
The Company is not responsible for member-generated disclosures that violate third-party obligations. Members participate at their own professional discretion.
5. Brand Partners
The Community may collaborate with brand partners. Brand partners do not control the Community platform and do not receive access to individual member identities or personally identifiable information unless explicitly authorized by the member.
Any insights shared externally are aggregated and anonymized unless individual consent has been provided.
6. Third-Party Platform
The Community is hosted on QuestionPro. Information submitted through the Community is subject to QuestionPro’s platform infrastructure and security practices. We encourage members to review QuestionPro’s privacy policies for additional information regarding platform-level data handling.
7. Data Storage and Security
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no electronic system can be guaranteed to be fully secure. Participation in the Community is undertaken with this understanding.
8. Data Retention
We retain Community data for as long as necessary to operate the Community and fulfill its intended purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
9. Member Rights
Members may request:
• Access to the personal information they have provided.
• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Removal of their identifiable information from the Community, subject to operational and legal requirements.

10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
