Awarness of music related graphic designers

When i started in a band i had a hard time finding graphic designers to make a logo for my band.
Im making this survey in my marketing class to find out if many people had the same problem as me and how graphic designers can branch out to people to make their profession more well known.

What do you think designers could do to reach to people thats not aware of how they find a music related designer ?

Use more money on funding advertising (causing higher prices)

Make bands they work with have the company’s name in the background on videos, logos, Facebook and youtube banners.
