Mrs. Istchenko, will try to give students their first choice in the band instruments. It is important, however, to have a proper balance of instruments in a band so that the band sounds good. Students will be assigned one of their 3 choices, with priority given to their first choice.Choices are flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, French Horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone (also called euphonium), tuba, and percussion. Students wishing to play saxophone should indicate so, but be aware that he/she will need to start his/her studies on the clarinet.Please indicate in order of preference which instruments the student would enjoy playing in band.
