Impact of teachers knowledge on pedagogical approaches to Literacy.

I am conducting a small-scale piece of research to understand how much knowledge primary school teachers have of children's literature and how this impacts upon literacy strategies in the classroom. The topic of research is very much under researched in education and that is why I intend to explore this area.

I am asking you to take part in this research by completing this short research questionnaire. If you consent to being involved in the project you don't need to do anything other than complete the questionnaire by the 9th November 2012. It would be greatly appreciated if you could answer the questions as truthfully as possible. The questionnaire will only take around ten minutes to complete. You do not need to write your name, and no individuals will be identified or traced from this as a result confidentiality and anonymity are assured.
