This survey will test your ability to distinguish the sonic differences between Class A single ended and Class AB push-pull output stages in valve guitar amps. The clips were recorded using two different amplifiers with Class A/Class AB switches. The only variable in the recording was the position of this switch.

Each question will present you with a reference clip and you will be asked to match one of two clips with the reference. If you hear a difference between any of the clips you will be asked to briefly describe what you are hearing.
