Clothing for people with Down's syndrome

My name is Olivia Sarson, I am a final year student at De Montfort University, Leicester, where I am studying Fashion Buying and Marketing. I am currently studying for my Dissertation, under the supervision of Dr Angela Davies, which is about whether the fashion clothing industry are catering for people with Down’s syndrome. This is a topic that is personal to me as I have a twin brother who has Down’s syndrome, and the issue of finding well-fitting clothing has always been apparent.
This questionnaire will help me to gather information on the issue of clothing for people with Down’s syndrome and how people feel about the subject.
I am inviting you, together with your carer or guardian to participate in this research study by completing the attached questionnaire. The questionnaire has ten questions and will take approximately five to ten minutes to complete. To ensure that all information remains confidential, please do not include your name or contact details on the questionnaire. If you do choose to participate within the questionnaire please take your time and answer each question as honestly as possible and return all completed questionnaires to your drop box/online.
Please note that all data collected from this survey will be used solely for the purpose of my dissertation and all personal details will be kept confidential. No information will be passed on to a third party and you have the right to withdraw from the study at any time.
