DeGroote Faculty Involvement Survey

Greetings from the DCS (DeGroote Commerce Society),

We are very appreciative that you have taken your time to complete this faculty involvement survey. Faculty support is an integral part to the DeGroote student experience and your support is much valued among the student community.

The main objective of this survey is to invite faculty to student events in a convenient manner. You will find a selection of DCS run events to attend separated by their nature. Each event will also indicate your role within the event, where you may be designated as the following:

Speaker: Faculty member will be asked to speak to an audience of students related to the event.
Judge: Faculty member will be asked to assess work completed by student(s) at the event
Faculty Support: Faculty member will be assigned a task relating to the specifics of the event

The following are Academic events where faculty support is best appreciated, please select all that you may be interested in attending

Backpack to Briefcase (Faculty Support): Formerly Academic Awareness Conference. We would like faculty to provide students with information about specific courses in your business field. Date: October 3rd 2015

DeGroote Business Challenge (Judge): We would like faculty to judge case presentation and interact with students at event: Date: November 15th 2015

The following are Philanthropic events where faculty support is best appreciated, please select all that you may be interested in attending

5 Days for the Homeless: We would like faculty to network with students at the event. Date: March 6th and March 11th 2016

The following are General events where faculty support is best appreciated, please select all that you may be interested in attending

DeGroote Den: We would like faculty to network with students at event while student's pitch a project idea to the DCS. Date: November 5th 2015 @5:30PM

Graduation Formal: We would like faculty to attend the Graduation Formal event. Date: March 18th 2016
