DoD Cyber Workforce Research

Greetings!

You have been invited to participate in a survey being conducted by a student at the U.S. Army's Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This research is being done in order to determine U.S. citizen interest in joining a "first-responder" like team in the defense of U.S. Cyber Space. As the threat and severity of attacks grow the Department of Defense (DoD) is working to determine different approaches, specifically with recruiting talented personnel, to help combat State and Non-State coordinated cyber attacks. In this survey, a variety of top U.S. software companies and Universities are being polled to gauge interest and commitment of those with programming experience or degrees.

It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. As you'll see from the questions, I'm not interested in age, gender, or race. Just the skills you have and what it might take to utilize them within the DoD. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential.
