Hello:
You are invited to participate in our survey that looks at domestic violence. The purpose of the study is to see if the educating of students from a young age about domestic violence and its impacts will stop domestic violence from occuring or reoccuring in their lives . In this survey, approximately 100 people will be asked to complete a survey; if you agree to be part of the research, you will be asked questions about your experiences with domestic violence. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions. Some of the survey questions ask about your emotions related to domestic violence and may be distressing to you as you think about your experiences. If you need to talk to someone about these feelings, a resource list of community counseling agencies will be provided.
Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Alyssa Lynch at 9427 4749 or by email [email protected].
Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
