Official Rules Overview
Below describes the official rules of FirstLine’s Evolution Sustainment Ideas/Concept Competition. The objective of the competition is to provide ideas or concepts to help the workforce retain the lessons of ENGAGE! and COACH!
The ideas and concepts should be focused on tools, exercises, or techniques – using attention getting concepts, ideas, slogans, tag lines
Name of the FirstLine team member submitting the ideas/concepts
Outline the goal/objective of the exercise/activity
Describe the ENGAGE! and/or COACH! skill the process/exercise/activity is targeted to reinforce
Provide a full description of how the process or exercise/activity works, who should be involved, and steps required in the process/exercise/activity
Describe the intended benefit/change/improvement
Eligibility
Any FirstLine employees who participate and completed ENGAGE! and/or COACH!
Duration of Contest
The competition is open June 8, 2009, through July 5, 2009.
Submitting ideas/concepts (how to enter)
Entries must be submitted electronically [email protected] or faxed to 216-674-5395. In additional to the ideas, concepts, the email must include the name, email, and telephone number of the entrant.
Judging and Selection of Winners
Entries will b judged and selected by a panel of judges, by July 28, 2009, based on a composite score using the following Judging Criteria: Originality, Message/Idea conveyed, and Motivational Impact (reinforcing ENGAGE! and COACH!). Judges will award using three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. In addition, depending on the number and quality of entries, Honorable Mention citations may be issued.
Winners/Prizes
o All personnel with entries will have their name entered into a raffle for various prizes to include: IPods, Digital Cameras, and Flip Camcorder
o Bronze Winner: IPod
o Silver Winner: Flip Camcorder
o Gold Winner: Flat Screen TV
General Information
The competition winners will be announced after July 28, 2009, and will participate in the finalization of their idea/concept for full implementation - to ensure Evolution Sustainment continue within the FirstLine team. Entrants that have their ideas/concepts implemented can also submit to the TSA via [email protected].
All entries will be considered for further development and use by either FirstLine or entered to TSA as part of Evolution Sustainment Best Practices.
