Reasearch Title: The Potential of using Public Private Partnerships to procure public ICT projects
I am a student currently reading for an M.B.A. in E-Business at the University of Malta, and as part of my thesis I am conducting a survey on the potential of awarding contracts under public private partnerships instead of traditional customer-supplier contracts, to realize public ICT projects.
Purpose: To investigate the views of the IT private sector in Malta regarding Public Private Partnerships (PPP) as a procurement model for government ICT projects. Also to study the private sector willingness and concerns to embark on projects under the PPP programme instead of using conventional procurement methods when supplying public ICT projects.
