INSTRUCTIONS: The South Carolina New and Beginning Farmer Program (SCNBFP) application consists of a number of questions designed to assess your readiness and sincere interest in the program. Prior to completing and submitting your application, be sure to read the PROGRAM OUTLINE, including eligibility and selection criteria, participation/attendance policy, and participant cost estimate. Please be aware that detailed programming and session schedules are still pending program funding, but will be available before the start of the program. Anyone who wishes to rescind their application before the program begins may do so without penalty. JOINT APPLICANTS: Each applicant will be required to submit an application. Please note in the appropriate place the name of your partner/joint applicant. Joint applicants must be from the same farm enterprise, and both must submit an application. REVIEW: Applications will be reviewed by the SCNBFP Advisory Committee. The number of applicants accepted will be contingent upon program resources. While every effort will be made to accept as many qualified applicants as possible, we encourage you to complete the application thoughtfully and carefully in order to secure top priority. Acceptance letters will be emailed prior to the start of the program. By completing this application, you certify that you have read and understand the program outline and if selected, will fully participate in the SC New and Beginning Farmer Program.
