* Your HP OMi Awareness and understanding?

The console is monitored 24x7. I am capable of investigating alerts further and resolving if required. If unable to resolve, I follow the instructions and annotate all in a timely manner.
 
 
 
* Mainframe tn3270 (OPC & Monitoring)

Monitoring the SDSF queue watching jobs, monitoring input queues and intitiators. Monitoring OPC 5.4 for batch failures.OPC for job submission requests.
 
 
 
* Mainframe HMC (Web Console)

Checked for highlighted HMC Operating messages or Hardware messages and raise tickets to CC Sysprogs if alerts are present. Chase with CC Sysprogs for updates.
 
 
 
* Appworx-PRD

Monitoring Batches,Monitoring Agents,Checking for failures and performing adhoc job requests.
 
 
 
* Unix TLOGs

Monitor the TLOG landing page to check it remains in a healthy status, action the weekly change to purge data for the ODS team.
 
 
 
* Data Centre Management (DCIQ)

Data Centre Management tool. Used for 3 Data Centres and 32 remote sites. Monitors/manages the security and environment.
 
 
 
* SYSOPER Inbox

The timely management of the SYSOPER inbox, reacting to requests, filing emails away.
 
 
 
* Run Sheet Completion

The timely update and completion of the run sheets
 
 
 
* DSR Completion

The timely update and completion of the DSR with accurate information as this is sent to high level management.
