In recent years, business use of web based social networking and collaboration tools like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube, Blogs, etc, is steadily fast growing. This questionnaire is therefore aimed at finding the extent to which social media is used for business purposes in marketing, sales promotion and strategic decision making.

For the purposes of this survey, the terms social media, social collaboration and social networking are used interchangeably to mean such web based social technology tools.
