The international polo community is steadily growing, marking a renaissance for the prestigious sport. Tournaments are well-attended and the most recent development has not gone unnoticed for long – new polo destinations and resorts are being established worldwide, for instance in Dubai or Marrakesh. While polo is played in many different countries all around the globe, a major part of the community lives in Europe. Engel & Völkers Resorts is currently doing a comprehensive market study of the international polo market. Our overall objective is to develop a product for all polo enthusiasts to enjoy, which corresponds to the individual needs of the community. We at Engel & Völkers Resorts, as the market leader for premium resorts, are specialized in the strategic consulting as well as the individualized marketing and sales of high-quality resorts and secondary homes. Apart from our brokerage business, we strongly identify with the sport of polo. This is primarily due to the Engel & Völkers Polo Schools, located in Hamburg, Berlin and on Majorca as well as the fact that the founder of Engel & Völkers, Christian Völkers himself, has been a passionate polo player for many years now.
