Hello:

You are invited to participate in a brief survey on why you are my Facebook friend. In this survey, you will be asked to complete a few multiple choice questions about why you are my friend here on Facebook. It will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes to complete the questionnaire, unless you have a difficult time making decisions.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. But if you are truly my friend, you will answer each question thoughtfully and correctly, or else I will assume you are more of a fair-weather friend.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. I really have no idea what that means.

Your information will remain completely confidential...unless you decide to share it with others....or if it goes viral, which is completely out of my control.....but it probably won't, because I don't have that many friends to begin with.
