What is the SPAM Index?

We run your uploaded email lists through a series of filters and preset algorithms to objectively determine the quality of your list. The possible values are :

  1. Good - No Major Issues Found
  2. Fair - Some Issues Found
  3. Poor - List is highly SPAM suspect. Issues Found. QuestionPro WILL NOT accept email delivery for this list without manual approval from our support staff.
  4. Restricted - Not Acceptable - This list will not be accepted by QuestionPro

What is the algorithm used to determine the SPAM Index?

This is confidential and will not be disclosed.

I uploaded my email list and the SPAM Index is "Poor" -- What can I do?

Please contact customer support and provide them with ALL of the following information:

  1. You current license and how long have you been a customer
  2. Country where your company operates : Physical Address, and Website.
  3. Explanation on how you obtained this email list
  4. When was the last time users in this email list were contacted?
  5. Have users explicitly opted-in to receive email from you? If so, do you have IP address and timestamp logs of the opt-in process?

Our customer support and email deliverability staff will go over this information and may request more information if needed. Once we are satisfied that this email list will not pose a systemic issue regarding SPAM, we will be able to override the SPAM Index. The status will change to "Poor (Phone Verified/Override)" or "Restricted Phone Verified/Override"

How long with this manual verification process take?

During weekdays and regular business hours -- this will take anywhere between 1 to 3 business days depending upon the volume of requests we receive.
