A. Very Skilled: I am comfortable with the start of a pediatric IV and the majority of time I succeed with 2 sticks or less.

B. Moderately Skilled: I am somewhat comfortable on the start of a pediatric IV but would rather not attempt the start if someone else would do it.

C. Not Skilled: I am unable to start a pediatric IV and would need help when necessary.
