Concerning the Walk-through and Coaching Conference cycle, please read the following In-TASC standard and respond to the statement.

Standard #8: Instructional Strategies. The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways.

My walk-through and coaching conference helped me explore and utilize appropriate instructional strategies.

Standard #8(h):The teacher uses a variety of instructional strategies to support and expand learners’ communication through speaking, listening, reading, writing, and other modes.

The engagement strategies discussed enabled me to increase student involvement in instructional sessions.
