Did you find the application process easy? If not, what problems did you face and how were they overcome (either by yourself or following advice from LVFA)? Is there anything we should add to the Application Form?

Once a firm volunteered to assist you: In practical terms, what did this involve? (Were initial communications by email, phone or a mixture? Did you travel to meet the lawyer, or did they travel to meet you? Were there formalities such as identity checks to complete? Did they explain what would happen once you had completed the initial or telephone call or meeting?). We use this feedback to help other organisations understand how their interaction with lawyers might develop.

Was there anything in the meeting, discussion and advice process that you found difficult to understand? Is there anything we could do to make the process easier?

What was your opinion of the volunteer lawyers who helped you? What impact did their advice have on your organisation’s work?

If the Lawyers Volunteering for the Arts Scheme did not exist, where else would you have tried to find pro bono legal help? Do you think you would have found free personalised legal help if this scheme did not exist? If you were unable to find free legal advice, how would this have impacted on your organisation’s work?

Would you recommend that other arts organisations participate in the referral scheme? Can you explain why (or why not)?
