1. Hello:
You are invited to participate in our Featherbrooke Hills Retirement Village Residents Initiative survey. In this survey, approximately 400 people will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the levels of participation in Village affairs. It will take approximately 4 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

A survey such as this allows an individual to express themselves anonymously, but please do not enter misleading information as this will negate the value of the survey. If you have no experience of the question being asked, please ignore it.

Your participation in this suevey is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any question you can ignore questions or withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact [Name of Survey Researcher] at [Phone Number] or by email at the email address specified below.

Yes No
Since the first resident moved in there have been a number of Information Meetings, basically to introduce people to village life, and one AGM. All these meetings have been characterised by time constraints. This may have lead to some frustration. Do you think a series of unofficial meetings with a broader base and more time would help in the preparation for official meetings?
As an owner/resident you automatically have voting rights at official General Meetings. Do you expect to exercise that right?
As a non-owning resident, would you expect to be a named PROXY at official General Meetings.
The room normally used for meetings will never hold the complete resident body and possibly partners, would you consider naming a Proxy to vote on your behalf so that your important vote will not be lost.
