1. Hello:
You are invited to participate in this survey to understand what people mostly enjoy about music videos, and the particular features and themes that are appealing when watching this form of Audio/Visual content. This survey is directly related to my dissertation and will help me in the research stages of creating a top quality music video for a full length Extended Play (E.P.). It will take approximately Five to Ten minutes to complete this questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for myself to learn your opinions.

    * 5. My dissertation will be creating an E.P. and then compiling a full length music video to accompany the release, the E.P. is a selection of acoustic music (Written by me) which will create a dramatic focus within the story line of the music video. Artists such as Lady Gaga, Angels and Airwaves and Greenday have released Music videos with an extended amount of content relating to the motif's created within the music. Would this sort of artist concept be something you would be interested in watching? Do you believe artists in order to expand on their music should create new ways to feature their music and artistic values? What sort of extra content do you believe artists should be adding to their work, (Recording Diaries, Artwork booklets, Interviews, Track by Track commentaries. etc.)
       
     
     
     
    * 6. My main goal is to portray the emotion that the music creates with just imagery following the synchronisation across the E.P. from song to song, meaning no dialogue. Do you feel this sort of idea creates a stronger identity of emotion (Sadness, remorse, fear Etc)? Or do you believe that dialogue is a staple of showing emotion within film? What are your opinions and how do feel music can instill emotion within, and do you believe that visuals can enhance or detract from this idea?
       
     
     
     
    * 7. Most commercial music videos focus around one song and on a performance from an artist or a short story line. This project is to create a full length feature for an entire E.P, do you feel this is a more creative and inventive way to acquire new consumers for an artist? Or do you believe it would be more of a deterrent?
       
     
     
     
    * 8. As this survey is aimed at consumers/creative artists, this project is still looking for actors, production crew, musicians, vocalists and artists to perform as part of the E.P./Full feature, if you have any of the qualities that may be required in the production of the components of this project, or would like to be a part of this project, please leave your name, contact information and some details as to what skills you have available to you and how you would wish to aid this project.
