Greetings Friends and Families of McKay Arts Academy Innovation School:
The McKay Arts Academy Parent/Teacher Organization would like to better serve our students, families and teachers. To accomplish this, we are asking your opinion about the MAA PTO. This brief eight question survey will also help us determine in which activities our families like to participate. We would also like to see more parents and teachers at our meetings and possibly want help out at one or more events.
Your participation is completely voluntary; we have no way of tracking responses. If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. If you have questions at any time about the survey, you may contact the PTO at

The MAA PTO is a group of interested parents/guardians and teachers who work together to provide fun and educational experiences for our students. Our focus is helping the children in our community enjoy an enriching learning experience.

Our Mission as a PTO at the McKay Arts Academy is to promote and encourage communications among parents, teachers administration and the community. We accomplish this by sponsoring and organizing school events and enrichment programs which deepen our community spirit and enhance our children's educational experience. The fundraisers are to raise funds for community events such as movie mornings/nights, pancake breakfasts and spaghetti suppers, McHay Day and Field Day. The funds are also raised for events such as dances, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, middle school honors celebration and the flowers for the 8th Grade Moving on Celebration. The MAA PTO holds open meetings the first Wednesday of each month during the school year at 6:00 PM in the MAA cafeteria. We provide child care for you to attend meetings. What prevents you from attending?

Our Vision is to promote parents' involvement in school activities and to raise funds to be used to assist MAA in meeting the objective of providing the best possible education for our children.
