Hello:
This is the fourth year of this survey. It is completely confidential. We share the data with the participants – If they ask for the summary data, and we do not charge them anything for it. We do not sell the data. Research reports never name companies or people. Our interest is in seeing “the big picture” in different industries. Company problem areas change over time, and at different times in different industries. We are interested in looking at trends.
We place no logos or other advertising info on the survey site.
Who may take the survey?
We limit the survey to managers at all levels, but NOT supervisors.
The TEST: Do you have Presidents, Vice-presidents, Directors, Managers or Supervisors directly reporting to you? If YES, you are who we are looking for.
After the basic data questions, there are only 10 questions, but each answer takes two forms:
Required: Select an answer from the 1,2,3,4 or 5 scale- indicating level of agreement or disagreement.
Optional: A “Comments” space is provided if you want to describe your answer in more detail or make
general comments.
We require the following data:
a. Your position title:
b. The level of people who directly report to you (Presidents, VPs, Dir., etc.)
c. Your industry
d. The geographic region(s) for which you are responsible.
e. The number of total employees in the part of the company for which you are responsible.
If you want to see the summary data, we need: Your email address (This is NOT an opt-in list).
Optional: Your name and your company name and address.
Time required: Less than five minutes to answer the required answers.
The optional comments take as much additional time as you choose to spend.
Additional Information: If your direct reports would also be eligible to take the test, feel free to make them aware that they, too, can take it. Please do not require them to do so. The number and levels of survey participants affect the quality of the data.
Finally, over the years, we have been asked if we could pool the data separately for participating companies, thereby giving them a level of agreement measure. If we can do this without violating confidentiality, we are happy to oblige – at no charge. If you desire this information, please indicate this in the final comment box.
