Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to participate in this short questionnaire on Poll Everywhere and give your thoughts on its usefulness to you in engaging students, and gauging their comprehension, in a live lecture situation.

At its shortest, this should only take 5-10 minutes (9 questions in total). If you wanted to spend a little more time looking at the the Poll Everywhere website, for example to discover its features or read case studies, you may be able to draw some more established conclusions about the potential of the solution.

Before starting, please watch the brief video introduction to Poll Everywhere above.

Poll Everywhere provides a live way of interacting with your student audience, either with pre-prepared questions or creating surveys on-the-fly. Student can respond using their laptops, smartphones or older mobile phones (using text messaging), giving them the opportunity to participate without being overt and allowing instructors or presenters to determine the student audience's understanding and also adapt teaching to address any issues or plan for future contact time.

A basic Poll Everywhere account is free and apps can be downloaded for iOs or Android.

This questionnaire forms part of a brief field test as part of my PhD programme and the responses and results will be used to support a review of the functionality of the Poll Everywhere service as a Mobile Learning application. Your responses are private and your name will not be used in the test report or associated with your responses. The report will not be published. It forms part of the assessment for an Educational Technology module that I am participating in.

If possible, please complete this questionnaire before Friday 28th April 2017.
