Dear CIT,

We can't thank you enough for your continued engagement in this important process to provide input to Dr. Melendez. As we know, the C of Communication was an area of high need as identified in the Community Forums and by our Team. At our last meeting you were given a copy of a draft Communications Plan developed by Cornerstone Communication. This plan has not been adopted by the Board so it is a perfect time for us to provide our ideas. The document will be translated and sent to the Team. As you can see the plan calls for a position of Chief Communications Officer that the district is considering. A plan like this will guide the work of this staff member. That is why it is important for us to review and comment.

Here is the process we will follow:
After reading the Plan, please respond to the questions no later than May 25, 2012. We will compile the results and share with the Team. Thank you for devoting you time to this important task.

Jim, Joann and Dr. Cathie Olsky
