As part of our continued efforts to have better trained and capable employees, we have instituted a program where aspiring team members apply for promotions based upon meeting the minimum requirements for that position. There are 3 components of this program. The first area is the team members self-evaluation where the team member identifies areas in which they need more exposure to become proficient for their position. The second area, where you guys come in, is an evaluation of the team member. This is a vital part of the process as it gives you guys the opportunity to give candid, anonymous feedback on the employees performance and an insight as to how they could perform in a leadership position. All this information comes together in a final evaluation with Craig and Carter so that we can attempt to give the team member a pathway to improving their performance to allow them to lead or it gives us solid feedback on finalizing a promotion.
