The UVA Ambassador Program was implemented after the 2015 Hannah Graham incident to increase safety options for students around the corner and off-grounds areas.

5. The UVA Ambassadors' Patrol zone has 4 visible locations famously across Qdoba/Lil Johns where law enforcement personnel are stationed on the corner. Other areas include:
- University ave - corner area on foot positions BY BOYLAN
- Several bike positions
- West main street area BY THE FLATT
- JPA area near SHAMROCK
