Welcome to the Inaugural YOUNG GUNS HALL OF FAME - 2012;

We certainly appreciate your willingness to volunteer your time and knowledge to help out the young drivers who have been nominated for this year's inaugural grouping. Out of eight total nominees, only six can be selected. The main criteria that we ask you look at is more than just driving records and stats; today's corporate sponsors look at a "complete" package in sponsorship. Driver's are in reality, only another marketing tool in the corporate world. And while this is the necessary viewpoint, we at YOUNG GUNS HALL OF FAME, feel that "our" part is to help to educate the young drivers and help them direct their career paths, so that when they become seasoned in the sport that they also become a "sellable" product to potential sponsors.

Therefore judging is from the viewpoint of "overall"; of course stats are primary, but to a sponsor, things like fan base, personality, volunteerism, etc. are all very important. To corporate sponsors, "Positive Image" is EVERYTHING. The more ROI potential a corporate sponsor can see, the more likely they are to allocate funds to your group. PLEASE judge all of the drivers at the level they are, in the class they are currently running. We feel that they are not competing against each other, but it is more recognition of their accomplishments and attitudes that has set them apart from their peers in the sport. A YOUNG GUNS HALL OF FAME in the beginning of a career, instead of later in their career is to be used as a tool for them to better establish themselves from this point on. Allowing them much needed exposure to Media and Corporate Entities. Allowing them to become better educated about what is expected of them as they progress in the sport that we all love so well.
