My name is Karly Hurst and I am a third year student in Edgehill University. As part of my dissertation, I am required to carry out research that will enable me to determine if Facebook is taking adequate steps to protect the user’s personal information.

Participant’s Role
I will ask you to use refer to your Facebook Profile to complete the questionnaire. The questionnaire will ask you questions regarding your Facebook Profile.

Your name and personal details will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone else.
The information that you provide will be used along with other participants to produce statics as part of my research.

Are you familar with Facebook's Privacy settings that allow you to control your personal information ? Have you ever read Facebook's Privacy Policy in full? If not, why have you never read Facebook's Privacy Policy in full? Have you ever changed any of the Privacy features from their default settings? Have you added any applications to your Facebook profile? How many applications have you added? Have you ever read 'Facebook Terms of Use' before proceeding with an application ?
