You are invited to participate in our survey CSS Transit Initiative. In this survey, approximately 100 people will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the transportation situation to/from campus and on campus. We are researching this for a project in the BIO class, Current Environmental Topics. It will take approximately 5 MINUTES to complete the questionnaire.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.
Your survey responses will be stricly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. What is your current status at the College? Do you have a car on campus? If residing on campus, in which building do you live? If the DTA were to create a route directly from UMD to CSS to the Miller Hill Mall area, how likely would it be that you would use it? If residing off campus, how do you get to campus? Do you or does anyone in your family own a hybrid vehicle? Have you (or has anyone in your family) seriously considered purchasing a Hybrid vehicle? Would a reserved parking spot increase your interest in purchasing a hybrid vehicle? If the College were to adopt a "Yellow Bicycle" program, would you use it?
(The Yellow Bicycle program is where an institution has many bikes around for students to take them where they need to go on campus and leave them at the door for others to use and ride.) |
