Interfaces for retrieval of datasets for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Thank you very much for participating in this research study. The overall purpose of this research is to conduct a study in order to gain information about interfaces used for retrieval of datasets by users of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In this study you will be asked to fill in a web based survey, which will take around 15 minutes. The session will take the following form: ¡¤ After formally agreeing to participate, we will first ask you a few questions about standard demographic information; ¡¤ Next you will be asked to give information about your experience using GIS ¡¤ Finally you will be asked to respond to three sets of search interfaces Anything that you do will be reported without any reference to you specifically. All information that you provide will be treated confidentially and your identity will not be revealed in the reporting of the study results. Your name will appear only on this sheet and this sheet will be stored separately from any data collected for this study. Your participation is voluntary, you may withdraw from participating at any time, and you may decline to answer any question. Thank you very much for participating in this research study.
