Project Title: Comprehensive Study of Building Rating System
We are students from Temasek Polytechnic doing our final year project on building rating system. This survey wil enable us to know what you think of the residential building rating system. It will also allow us to know what people expect from the building rating system. This survey will help us understand the likes of the general public and therefore allow us to decide whether a rating system for residential building is necessary

The following are some information for your knowledge before proceeding on to the survey:
- Green Mark Programme: An assessment system to rate the environmental impact and performance of buildings will encourage the industry to pay greater attention to its impact on environment.
- Intelligent Building: The building should have advanced automatic control systems to monitor various facilities to provide a comfortable working environment for the tenants. It should also have adequate telecommuntion facilities and networking infrastructure to enable data flow between floors.
Do you think by implementing a rating system for residential building is necessary? (e.g. star rating) Would you like all the residential building in Singapore to be intelligent? How much extra money are you wiling to pay for building intelligence? Would you pay S$62205 so you can control the air-conditioning, lighting, television etc?
