If some students were barred from having additional sources of income because of restrictions from their funding source would it be appropriate for other students to be allowed to have outside sources of income (in addition to their stipend)? Did/do you have an additional source of income (e.g., job) at any time during your first two years of the program? Did/do you have an additional source of income while working on your thesis (i.e. after the first two years)?
