The Mediated Efficiency Survey

You are invited to take part in our survey about the media and energy efficiency.

The survey comprises four short sections of a few questions each and

should take a total of about 10 minutes to complete.

The survey is administered by Ryan Cunningham, an MSc media researcher at the

London School of Economics & Political Science. Your survey responses will be

strictly confidential. Data from this study will be coded and reported only in aggregate.

If you have questions at any time, please contact Ryan at the email address below.

We respect both your privacy and your time--feel free to skip any question

if you feel rushed or are uncomfortable answering it, but please do try to make it

through all four pages of the form. Don't worry; there are no 'correct' answers!

Thank you very much for your time and support!

Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

Please take a moment to think about specific examples of things you've been exposed to--anything from an advert to a newspaper article to a co-worker or family member, which has discussed some issue related to energy--gas prices, alternative fuels, things to do around the home, etc.

For each of the media categories below, please use the text box to very briefly describe one of these examples. Use as much detail as you can--it's OK to just say "the evening news" or "a tabloid on the train," but if you can specify the source, or even name a specific program or article, please do so.

Then, tell us a bit about this example by indicating the extent to which you agree or disagree with the two statements which follow.

Don't worry--it's OK to skip a category if you can't think of an example for it! Only put down what comes to mind quickly and easily. If you'd like to rate a category but don't have a specific example, just leave the text box blank.
